The DUESOUTH XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT heads to Knysna in July.  Taking place on Thursday, 07 July 2011, XTERRA Knysna is the only XTERRA SA event that does not feature a water discipline, but instead follows a run/bike/run format.

South Africa’s top multi-sport athletes and outdoor enthusiasts will be seen converging on the magnificent Pezula Private Estate to test their skill at this spectacular event.

The DUESOUTH XTERRA consists of a series of events taking place countrywide before culminating in the Western Cape in 2012 with the DUESOUTH XTERRA South African finals presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT.

The Knysna event forms part of the much loved Knysna Oyster Festival and will see individual athletes or teams of two tackle a 3km trail run, 23km mountain bike and 7km trail run.  XTERRA Lite athletes will be faced with the same challenge, but just over a shorter distance of 3km trail run, 12.5km mountain bike and a 3km trail run.  All three legs of the XTERRA Full and XTERRA Lite will take place in and around the spectacular Pezula Private Estate.
